indices held strong gains in noon deals on Tuesday led by renewed buying interest in beaten down IT stocks, select auto and financial stocks too logged notable gains.
The BSE Sensex was up around 750 points to 52,365, and the NSE Nifty moved nearer to the 15,600-level.
Among individual stocks, Titan soared nearly 6 per cent, while HCL Technologies rallied 4 per cent.
In the broader markets, the BSE MidCap and SmallCap indices also posted strong gains, up 1.7 per cent and 2.2 per cent, respectively.

Among stocks, Suven Life Sciences soared 5 per cent. The company’s board is scheduled to meet on June 24 to consider a proposal to raise funds by way of issue of equity shares on rights basis.
KEC International rose over 2 per cent after the company said it won new orders worth Rs 1,092 crore across its various businesses.Â
