I don’t post on forums that often, but this topic is close to me, so I couldn’t just scroll past. From my own experience: most of this stuff looks way more complicated than it actually is. Once you sit down, check the actual numbers and stop trusting random advice from the internet, it clicks pretty fast. The main thing I’ve learned over the years — always check the source before you take someone’s word for it.
